Every year on the third Thursday of October, credit unions and their members all over the world celebrate the spirit of cooperation and the power of member ownership. October 15, 2009 is International Credit Union Day, and we hope you’ll join us for juice and snacks in our branches.

We know a lot of the reasons people join credit unions: they appreciate the lower fees and rates on loans and higher returns on deposit products; they like being treated like a valued member, not a number; they like that members determine their CU’s decisions—not stockholders.
