The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) issued an alert on Tuesday regarding a new scam that targets credit union members, often offering money in exchange for personal details.

If you receive an email claiming to come from the NCUA and asking for participation in a survey, do not open the email, and do not respond. The requests are fraudulent and possibly an attempt to obtain sensitive information.

Salal Credit Union and the NCUA will never send you an email to solicit personal information.
