It doesn’t feel like it yet, but summer is coming, or so rumor has it. And one of the most fun, free events of summer is the South Lake Union Block Party! The annual event, preparing for its sixth and biggest year yet, will be held on Friday, August 13 at the Discovery Center on the corner of Westlake and Denny in downtown Seattle. The fun starts at noon and ends when the outdoor movie wraps up around 11 pm.

Lots of local businesses participate, including Salal Credit Union. If you attended last year, you probably remember our quiz board that lit up for correct answers and buzzed loudly enough to startle even city pigeons for wrong ones. We plan to have a new, interactive game this year, and great prizes to give away, so come visit us at our booth.
