You may notice a little change in the next Gear Up you receive—it’s a little bit longer and not called “Gear Up” anymore! We’re streamlining our newsletters, so three times a year, instead of receiving both a digital News You Can Use and a printed or emailed Gear Up, members will receive a longer News You Can Use.

The expanded News You Can Use (NYCU) newsletter will have the same features you currently enjoy in Gear Up: member profiles, tips for money management, announcements of special deals and upcoming events, etc. It will also contain the information you need to be an active co-owner of your credit union: the date of the Annual Meeting, for example, or calls for nominees to Salal CU’s Board of Directors and committees and information on the candidates.
