Your Salal statement: What’s new?

Friday, January 21st, 2011

The first statement generated by our new system will be sent to members in early March (the February statement). It will look much like you’re used to, but you’ll find that some information has been added, and a few things have changed. We want to alert you to the differences so you’ll know what to expect:

  • Salal mortgage information: Now available on print and eStatements and in Online Banking! If you’d like to receive this information via Online Banking and eStatements, give us a call at the numbers listed below.
  • New suffixes on account numbers: Some account numbers will have new suffixes. For example, if your checking account was formerly 123456-10, it may now show on your statement as 123456-0040. This does not require any action on your part. Automatic payments and transfers and share drafts will still go through as scheduled.

If you have concerns or questions regarding your new statement, please feel free to contact Salal: visit your branch, or give us a call at 800-562-5515 or 206-298-9394.

  1. We just made the first payment this past week on our new home mortgage refinance. Will this loan and our HELOC informaion be a part of the new monthly bank statement? We would be very pleased to see it there.

  2. Ami,

Great question, thank you, and congratulations on your new home mortgage refinance! Your HELOC information should already be appearing on your statements, and your mortgage information will begin showing on your statement with your February statement (sent in early March).

    Thanks for asking!

  3. Joan,

I’m sorry you’ve been having issues signing in to Online Banking. It sounds like your account needs to be reset to enable you to login without having to answer the security questions. Please call our Virtual Branch and have one of our representatives reset your account. The number is 800-562-5515 or 206-298-9394. Our Virtual Branch is open M-F, 8 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturdays, 10 – 2.

    Thank you!

  4. I pay my bill via on-line banking thru my bank. Is there a new address to which the payment should be sent? Also, a new account number?

  5. Daryl,

Thank you for your question. I assume you mean by this that you make a payment to Salal via an automatic bill pay system from a different financial institution? Your payment will go through as it always does–you don’t need to do anything. The address is the same; the payment will be received and credited just as always.

For those who use Salal’s Bill Pay to make scheduled payments, these will also be carried out just as always–there’s no need for you to do anything or change anything.

Daryl, thank you for asking! Please let me know if this doesn’t answer your question.
