OK, we admit the cause-and-effect may not be quite so simple, but Salal CU is currently raising funds for organizations that are genuine life-savers! There are still lots of chances for our members to contribute.

We’ve been raising funds for the Mary Mahoney Professional Nurses Organization, HealthPoint and the King County Nurses Association since the beginning of June, and thanks to the generosity of our members, the public and our staff, we’ve already raised quite a lot of money!

Please keep an eye on our blog Events Page for updates on branch events. We also have great gifts for you to choose from, if you donate $10 or more to one of the three organizations listed above.

And don’t forget, we’re taking submissions of your original photos for our calendar competition until August 15! Winners will receive $100 and inclusion in our 2012 wall calendar. Judging from the submissions so far, the calendar is going to be beautiful! The calendar will be available as a gift for a contribution of $10 or more, starting in November.
